Recently we made a decision to sell one of our rental properties and as part of this we talked to a couple of sales agents from Barfoot & Thompson and Harcourts. Both agents were very helpful and enthusiastic about selling our house. However, we choose to go with Helen Shaw being very impressed by her energy, ideas and infectious positive attitude. Helen, who was a good listener, gave us an indication on the likely price range our house would sell for and was highly motivated to promote and finalise a sale prior to Christmas (only 6 weeks away when we signed up with her).
Helen guided us in terms of house presentation to optimise the final price and she promoted our property across Harcourts agents and externally through a variety of publications, electronic media and fliers. After the first weekend of ‘open homes’, amazingly, she presented us with a pre-auction offer and facilitated a price that was accepted by both parties.
